L and L Conversion Kits make the engine swap easy

The truck originally sported a 351w because I had no idea that I should have bought the truck with a 460. Everyone said the 460 will eat you out of house and home, so I went with the 351HO. It ended up that the 351 never really had enough power for the weight of this truck. It was always working hard whether or not it was under load.

Now, with the opportunity to do things right, we decided to move up to the big block 460. The only problem was how we were going to get it in the truck and bolt on the power steering, alternator and A/C pump. Thankfully, L and L products came to our rescue. Their kits make it easy to accomplish the motor swap. Everything just bolts right on. No muss, no fuss. Not only that, but they look great as well.

In addition to the brackets, we received in the kit, two aluminum pulleys, one for the crank and one for the water pump. These, just like the brackets, are a direct bolt on accessory and they really dress out the engine well. As you can see from the photos, the engine is a work of art.
